About Us

Pink and Boujee

Pink and Boujee was founded by Yesenia Castro, a DREAMER raised in Boyle Heights and born in Veracruz, Mexico. Born to Mexican parents whose dream was to succeed in life and give their family opportunities that they would not receive in their homeland due to economical hardships.

Pink and Boujee was born out of an idea to showcase Yesenia's mother's traditional cooking mixed with her own personal influences which you can guess involves the color pink. Like the slogan "Not Your Basic Taqueria" they wanted to create a taqueria where you can enjoy our one of a kind pink tacos with no artificial colors or ingredients.

Pink and Boujee is all about sharing Mexican-American and Latinx culture through delicious food. It's famous for its signature prime asada, al pastor, chicken, and veggie Pink Tacos, loaded Hot Cheetos, and freshly-made Aguas Frescas. This Latina-owned small business started off as a mobile truck but opened its brick-and-mortar in February of 2023—which quickly became popular due to their incredible aesthetic and mouth watering flavors.

Pink & Boujee’s space offers more than just a photo-worthy scene but also a perfect Saturday brunch - featuring their unique Pink Pancakes for the sweet tooth, or Pink-aquiles if you want something savory.

Pink and Boujee LA’s downtown location also provides fast takeout and grab & go lunch options in between some of the city’s most popular spots like the Arts District, Little Tokyo and the Mariachi Plaza.

Hop off at the Los Angeles Union Station to enjoy the best latin food near Downtown LA.

Pink and Boujee also offers unique catering ideas to make your next event stand out, making it perfect for bachelorette parties, quinceañeras, or if you simply want to spice up your office lunch options. So what are you waiting for? Come visit Yesenia and her pink themed restaurant and try some of LA’s best tacos. We look forward to seeing you soon! Be sure to tag us when you come visit so we can share your photos.
